FAQs

Need a hand with anything?

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions:

How can we help?

Orders

I placed more than one order - can you combine them?

Please email us and we will speak to our warehouse to see if the orders can be combined. If we can, we will of course refund you the postage of the additional order if applicable, especially as it is more environmentally friendly to send one parcel instead of two!

Can I add something to my order?

Please email customerservice@littlegreenradicals.co.uk as soon as possible, and we will try to add an item to your order if it hasn't been shipped yet and it is in stock, and we will send you an invoice for payment.

Can I edit my order after it has been placed?

Please email customerservice@littlegreenradicals.co.uk as soon as possible, and we will try to edit your order. Unfortunately, if the order has already been packed we can't edit it, so please do double check your basket and shipping address before making payment.

Are items in my bag reserved?

Your items in your bag will be saved, but they aren't reserved so snap them up quickly if there something you'd really like!

How do you package your clothes?

Whenever possible we ship our clothing from India where it’s produced and we send out orders in recycled paper potato sacks. After a lot of deliberating, we decided we do need to individually bag each item to protect our clothes on their long journey from India to your door, so have opted for fully compostible bags made from natrually grown materials. General

Where are your clothes made?

Our clothes are made by four wonderful suppliers in India - Deeps, Logotech, Silk'n Fab and Qualiance and Rajlakshmi. Read more about how our clothes are made. Transparent supply chain with high working standards for producers (monitored by GOTS and the Fairtrade Foundation).

What does Fairtrade mean?

At Little Green Radicals, we know the people who make our clothes at every step of production. Fairtrade farmers and their families have much more security than conventional farmers as they receive a guaranteed price for their crop, even if the market price takes a dive. They also receive extra money on top (called a premium) that is used to support the community. It might be used to build a school, or a well – it’s up to them – but little by little Fairtrade farmers see an improvement in their daily lives. The Fairtrade mark on cotton also guarantees working standards throughout the supply chain, including the factory. All the cotton we use is independently certified by the Fairtrade Foundation. How do I care for my Little Green Radicals item?

Make do and mend! We've put together a selection of blogs on how to keep your clothes looking lovely for longer. More this way.

What inks, dyes and fabrics do you use?

All our dyes and inks have been certified by GOTS organic. No harmful toxins like phthalates, chemical bleaches, harmful heavy metals or chorline are used.
Our colourful designs are hand screen-printed using either water based inks or a discharge printing method, which uses the same technique but instead of putting a colour on top of the fabric, the colour is removed.
At Little Green Radicals we make clothes that last from beautiful organic cotton fabrics. Cotton comes in many different forms and we take great joy in using lots of different weaves, from woven yarn dyed seersuckers to soft natural jerseys. These fabrics all have a luxuriously soft hand-feel making them wonderfully comfy for your little one to wear.

What is GOTS organic cotton?

We choose GOTS certified organic cotton because it’s grown without any nasty chemicals. This means the cotton fibres don’t get broken down so our organic cotton is incredibly soft, long lasting and kind to even the most delicate and sensitive skin. Choosing organic is better for your child, better for the planet and better for the health of the farmers. Conventional cotton is intensely sprayed with pesticides, whereas organic production gives farmers and their families a much safer environment to work and live in. More info this way. What washing instructions do you recommend?

We recommend to wash at 30 unless it's really dirty! Wash with similar colours and if you do want to tumble dry then it's best to use a cool setting. Take a look at our after care guide by SuperLooper.

Do you use recycled materials & is your rainwear PFC free?

Yes & yes! We use recycled plastic bottles to make our 100% waterproof rainwear, with a beautifully soft organic and Fairtrade cotton lining, and the recycled fabric is PFC free. Find out more.
