Wholesale Sales Manager
Little Green Radicals is a small but dynamic business looking for a Sales Manager to sell our organic and Fairtrade certified children's fashion to businesses in the UK and around the world.
We are flexible about where you are based (home working from anywhere in the UK is fine) and potentially about your hours, although ideally you would work close to full time during the selling seasons (Dec to Feb and May to July than at other times of the year). The job may involve occasional weekend work, but this is normally limited to one or two weekends each selling season for trade shows or store visits. If you work from home you will also need to visit our office in Brixton a few times a year for meetings.
The role involves selling our fashion range to shops and online businesses, mostly this is done through a combination of phone work and email, but it also may involve attending trade shows and potentially visiting some shops directly.
Your job will involve working towards mutually agreed sales targets, selling to key shops in identified countries including the UK and the US but languages may be an advantage to reach other countries.
You should have at least two years of experience of B2B sales. Wholesale sales experience is essential, ideally within clothing, nursery, gift sectors, however all industries will be considered.
You should be comfortable using social media and online systems as the job will involve assisting customers to order online and using social media to build a rapport and make contact with potential customers. Experience with Wholesale platforms such as Faire and Joor is a plus.
We are a small team, so a strong candidate is someone who loves being hands on, thrives on variety and has a positive, collaborative attitude.
