Great beach shirt! She had a blast in the waves and we didn’t have to worry about too much sun. We ordered 2/3y and she’s a little under 2yrs, so it’s a little oversized but hoping we can use it next year as well. So far everything we have purchased from LGR has been the best!
I love the long sleeved bathing suits and keep repurchasing them in bigger sizes - this one has such a lovely print! One star off for two of the seams getting undone quickly, perhaps I got a faulty top.
Bought two Hazy Blues and two Sorbet Striped shirts, each in 2 sizes, as well as the Vintage Red Stripe reversable sun hat. The sun hat says it's for age 5 but is a bit too small for our (small) 5-year-old. So the 2-year-old is wearing it (it's a little big on him but so I expect he can wear it for a few years). Some of the threads on the ends of the sleeves were loose/unraveling, for which I got a full refund, but the shirts are otherwise great and the kids seem to like wearing them so far this summer. I would as a customer buying UPF clothing to read more on the specifics of the material manufacturing. Whether there are moisture channels in the weave (polyester is hyrdophobic and generally dries faster than cotton, but the weave can make this faster or slower), or if there's any titanium dioxide interwoven in the fabric itself (often but not always done with UPF clothing), etc. For us nerds :)

To answer for the "nerds" out there: our UPF 50+ protection is achieved purely through the mechanical construction of the fabric, rather than through interwoven chemicals like titanium dioxide. The fabric (which is a blend of recycled polyester and spandex) is tightly knitted and condensed to physically block out the sun's rays. Additionally, our swimwear fabric is Oeko-Tex certified, ensuring it is made without harmful chemicals and is perfectly safe for little ones. Great product, my little one was happily splashing in the pool and sea all day without a problem. Removing a star because a seam started to come undone after a few uses and I had to fix it before it unraveled the whole item. I would recommend it!

Heavy weight swim top, definitely sun protective and great for peace of mind. High quality item, but because the material is such high quality it is a little warm, so regular hosing off required! Already bought the next size up!
Lovely material and colours. I got the set for the swimming lessons of my two year old daughter. So far, very happy with it!
We have used this swim top regularly for months now. On beaches, pools, lakesides.. it's done it all. Very good quality and nice bright colours. I think this is important for swimwear to not be camouflage as boys swimwear so often is!

There were, on all 4 of these shirts, some loose threads on the sleeves immediately after the first "new clothes" light wash (30 degrees, fine/delicates since they're not dirty). I've clipped them off and am keeping an eye on any new ones (they might just be manufacturing leftovers that weren't clipped rather than unravels). The kids seem to like them, don't complain that they're too hot (we're not in the water. I know these are rash guards which expect to be in water but I bought these purely for the UVP and we're wearing them in the current European heat dome event).

Although not worn yet, am delighted with the whale design and matching shorts especially as I have not seen this design on any other website. Material feels light weight, easy for the child to pull on and off. Happy to find product with UVP as not all children’s swim wear has this.
